A- Install the game :

1. Launch the bloodstream_install.exe program you've just downloaded
2. Follow the instructions
3. Don't forget to read the Read Me file

B- Launch the game :

1. Use the Start menu
2. Go to Programs then Bloodstream
3. Click on the Bloodstream icon

The game refuse to start (it blocks or display an error message), what to do?

1. Verify that you are using Windows 95 or 98. This game doesn't work on Windows NT
2. Install the last version of DirectX that you'll find on the Microsoft web site (here) or on a CD given with a recent video games magazine.

The game seems unplayable, is it because my computer is not fast enough?

1. Press F to display the number of frame per second.
   If this number is less than 20, it's not enough: Go to the next question.

How to increase the number of frame per second?

1. If you are not yet using it, use the 256 color mode by pressing the M key.
2. Reduce the quality of the background by pressing a first time the B key.
3. Suppress the background by pressing the second time the B key.
4. Suppress the sound by pressing the S key.
5. Change your computer!
