Being placed between the Sun and the Earth, Venus can only be seen on the morning or on the evening and usually near the horizon.

Exceptionnally, Venus passes exactly in the Sun/Earth axe (4 times in 234 years) and is visible agains the light of the Sun. It happened the 8th June 2004 !
